Carol Berkowitz

Carol Berkowitz is Practice Manager of Wimpole Aesthetics. She is married to Dr Joshua Berkowitz, Clinical Director, and together they established Wimpole Aesthetics. Carol has over 20 years’ experience of running a private medical practice, gained while supporting Dr Berkowitz’s clinics in their native South Africa.

Carol’s professional expertise as a Practice Manager is evident in the excellent customer care skills of the team that she leads. It was Carol who designed and implemented all the customer care systems and procedures in place at Wimpole Aesthetics. Carol’s pivotal role ensures the smooth running of the practice, with her overseeing patient wellbeing and safety, and working hard to ensure that the patient’s experience is always positive.

Carol’s philosophy of customer care is to ensure that each individual is welcomed with professional warmth and respect, rather as if they were welcome family guests.  This unconventional and personalized approach has been extraordinarily successful, with the result that a large proportion of patients has been loyal to Wimpole Aesthetics since the practice was first established.

Carol personally reviews all customer feedback and requests/suggestions,  using them to further develop and enhance standards of care and service at Wimpole Aesthetics.  Carol is responsible for ensuring that the Practice complies with key legislation such as Data Protection Act. Carol is the named person responsible for the safe-keeping of all the medical records and other confidential patient documentation. Together with Dr Berkowitz, she ensures that all their practices, procedures and recordkeeping complies with the highest quality standards required.
