CASE STUDY: Philipa, aged 25, London
Since my late teens I had embarrassingly developed the tendency to grow a few hairs on my jaw area. As a female this was particularly distressing & embarrassing and had become something that really upset me on a daily basis. I had tried several ways of getting rid of the hairs, such as waxing and plucking, however they always grew back quickly and therefore the problem was ongoing.
I began considering laser hair removal, but I was slightly hesitant to have this done on my face. Admittedly, I hadn’t read many horror stories regarding the treatment but I didn’t want to be the unlucky one! Alas, after much contemplation, I took the plunge to visit the Wimpole Aesthetic Centre for a consultation and all of my questions were answered – such as ‘Is the treatment dangerous’ and ‘Will this really get rid of my unsightly hairs?’.
Subsequently, I booked in 6 treatments with Dr Berkowitz and his team and after the 1st session I already saw improvements! These improvements continued throughout my phase of treatments and, after a few months, the problem had completely gone and has not returned since.
