About SmartXide
SmartXide carbon dioxide (CO2) fractional laser is a skin repair and rejuvenation treatment that tackles sun damage, age spots, fine wrinkles, deep wrinkles, large or fine pores, acne scars, scars & other blemishes, and poor general skin condition. There is a specific SmartXide CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing treatment for the fine skin of the upper eyelid and the fine skin of the lower eyelid and beneath the eye.
SmartXide Laser Treatment helps your skin regain its tone and texture using a CO2 laser system on an electronically pre-set network of points without removing the entire skin surface. A combination of other treatments may be necessary including Pelleve, Carboxytherapy (RioBlush) etc to get the ultimate result that you desire.
How does it work?
The laser fires multiple small beams onto the skin which burn out tiny areas. By varying the distance between the beams you can vary the amount of skin you rejuvenate.
How long does the treatment take?
The SmartXide Laser Treatment takes about 20-30 minutes. You need to have topical anaesthetic cream applied about 40 minutes before and you will need a little rest after. So all-in-all you will be in Wimpole Aesthetics for about 2 hours.
How many treatments are necessary?
You may need anything from 2 to 6 SmartXide CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing Treatment sessions, depending upon the overall original condition of the skin, the damage or condition to be corrected and the way your skin responds. Moderate or light treatment settings will generate less downtime but require more sessions that more aggressive treatments.
Cost
Between £600 - £1000 per SmartXide Laser Treatment. If you require many sessions then a global fee may be quoted for a group of 6 sessions.
